Franklin County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, free anyone, post bond, change a record, or retrieve an official booking file. Contact the agency that holds the record for an official answer.
Find the Right Franklin County Office
The correct contact depends on the last custodian and the kind of proof needed. Franklin County Jail can route a question about one county custody episode. The county Open Records Officer handles identifiable administrative record requests, while the Clerk of Courts handles Common Pleas criminal files. State incarceration and state parole belong to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and related state offices, not the county jail.

Use the official state form for a specifically identified DOC record.
Use these routes according to the question:
- To trace a named county-jail release and request its record, begin with the Franklin County released-inmate search, then call the jail or use the county Open Records Officer.
- For bail, disposition, sentencing, or another Common Pleas case entry, contact the Franklin County Clerk of Courts. Send an MDJ record request to the relevant Magisterial District Judge instead.
- For county-court supervision, use the parole and probation resource and Franklin County Adult Probation/Parole. State parole from a PA DOC prison uses the state supervision office shown on the release paperwork.
- For an immediate county custody-change notice, use Pennsylvania SAVIN/VINE. Franklin County says notices may include bail, work release, parole, or escape, so confirm the event type with the jail or court.
- For a state-sentenced person, search the PA DOC Inmate/Department Supervised Individual Locator. It excludes county-facility inmates and is not a Franklin County Jail roster.
- For a federal sentence, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. A federal pretrial custody question may instead require the federal docket, U.S. Marshals office, and the facility that physically held the person.
- For immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. It is separate from Franklin County and PA DOC records, and a missing result is not proof that custody never occurred.
Franklin County publishes no official online jail roster or recent-release feed. For that reason, this private site cannot pull a county list that the government does not provide. A jail call or SAVIN notice can help with a current status question. A narrow request for the existing booking and release record is the stronger route when documentary proof is needed.
